Note that you must be a member to attend the conference. Membership fees will be collected within the registration site.

Members and non-members can register an accompanying person who can sit in on sessions, attend lunches, dinners and tours, but cannot present posters or papers. Please note that accompanying persons are not co-authors or colleagues but spouses or partners who wish to join their partner for the conference. To do so you must opt for the option of registering more than one person and then check the “Accompanying person” box above the registration of the second person. The details of the accompanying person will be linked to the primary person.

Preceding ICAE 2018, you can register to attend one of the Workshops on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Note that some workshops have space constraints and will operate on a first come first serve basis.

In the late morning and afternoon of Tuesday, July 31, 2018, conference participants will be taken on an offsite tour that will showcase a particular agricultural, recreational or other attraction in the Vancouver or lower BC mainland area. Participants will be able to choose one tour during the conference registration process. Please make sure you pick the tour of your choosing, as each tour will have limited capacity.

Organizers reserve the right to cancel any tour should the minimum number of registrants not be reached. In the event of a tour cancellation, the participants will be notified via email and offered attendance at another tour.

Note that the accompanying person registration entitles accompanying persons to attend the social events and conference tours.

Credit Card Payments Online
Registration paid with credit card is a preferred method and results in an instant confirmation of a delegate attendance.

The registration payment will appear on your credit card statement as TRIPPUSRP UPPSALA. In a few cases, credit card companies have temporarily blocked payment due to the international nature of the transaction. To avoid problems of blocked payments, we suggest notifying your credit card company that this transaction will be occurring.

Electronic funds transfer (EFT)
Your registration is incomplete until your EFT is received! A system generated invoice will be emailed to you it will show the account details for the deposit. 

Acknowledgments
Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.

General Conditions of Registration

  1. It is expressly agreed that the members of the Organizing Committee and the Congress Secretariat for the International Conference of Agricultural Economists 2018, their legal representatives, directors and employees, and their agents, officers and services, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind whatsoever suffered directly or indirectly by the person, possession or property of any Congress  participant or other person during or in connection with the events on the program or any other activities of the International Conference of Agricultural Economists 2018 for any reason whatsoever no matter howsoever caused.
  2. It is agreed that the Organizing Committee and the Secretariat for the International Conference of Agricultural Economists 2018, and their agents and officers, reserve the right to cancel at any time any or all of the programmed or other activities if this should appear necessary as a result of events which are beyond their control or which they cannot reasonably be expected to influence or for which they are not responsible. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such events shall include force majeure, government or other official regulations, natural disasters, strikes or any kind whatsoever, civil, international or other crises, or any other unforeseen occurrence. Decisions regarding the necessity for such cancellation shall be taken by the Organizing Committee, or their agents, at their sole discretion and shall be final.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation before ­­­June 30, 2018, will incur a USD $100.00 cancellation fee.
  • There will be no refund on cancellations on and after July 1, 2018.
